The originals vary slightly in structure (some come as PDFs exported from Word, others as straight .docx files), so please be comfortable working in both formats and returning the finished work with the same layout intact—headings, tables, footnotes, and any inline graphics must stay in place. Accuracy and flow are more important to me than literal word-for-word conversion. Where sentences can be re-cast to sound idiomatic in Spanish, do so, but keep every nuance of the source text. If you encounter discipline-specific jargon, research it or flag it for my review; I am happy to clarify terms that need to remain in English. I will supply the articles in two batches so we can review tone and consistency early. Use of a CAT tool such as Trados, MemoQ, or even a well-organised glossary is encouraged if it helps maintain terminology consistency across pages, but this is not mandatory.
