I need to get a lean, test-ready Android MVP into the Play Store that proves the paid-membership concept for a business resale marketplace. The platform will ultimately match owners who want to sell under-performing shops with buyers or small-cap investors, but the very first milestone is all about secure user onboarding and profile management. Scope of this MVP • Native or high-quality cross-platform Android build (Kotlin, Java, Flutter or React Native are all fine as long as performance is solid). • Two distinct account flows behind a single sign-up screen: “Seller” and “Buyer / Investor.” • Up-front fee gate: once a user selects a role, they pay a small, one-time fee through Google Play billing before the profile is activated. No peer-to-peer transactions, no escrow—just this membership payment. • Profile dashboard where users can edit basic details, upload a logo/image and see their membership status. • Admin console (web or Firebase) that lets me view, suspend or delete any account. • Clean foundation for future modules such as listing creation, search and in-app chat, but those are out of scope for this first release. Tech preferences & integrations Firebase Auth + Firestore will keep costs low and let us iterate quickly, but I’m open to an equivalent stack if you can justify it. The payment gate must use Google Play’s in-app purchase flow to keep everything compliant. Deliverables 1. Source code in a private Git repo, fully buildable in Android Studio. 2. A signed APK / AAB ready for internal testing. 3. One-page setup guide covering environment variables, Firebase keys and release steps. Acceptance criteria • User can register, pay, log in and edit their profile without crashes on Android 11+. • Role and payment status persist correctly in Firestore (or chosen DB). • Admin actions reflect in the app within one refresh cycle. • Codebase is lint-clean and documented well enough for another dev to extend. If you have shipped at least one Play Store app with Google IAP and Firebase, this should be a straightforward build.
