I’m expanding a Django-based platform into a true microservice ecosystem and need an extra pair of senior-level hands to get us there. The immediate priority is a proof-of-concept task (paid on completion) that will let both of us confirm fit before we dive into a larger, fixed-price engagement. Scope of the first deliverable • Spin up a standalone Django microservice that handles user management, data analytics and payment processing while cleanly isolating each customer in its own database (database-per-tenant strategy). • Wire the service to our preferred payment gateway so every tenant can transact independently. • Expose health, metrics and tenant-aware endpoints that can be called from the rest of the platform. Tech expectations Django 4+, DRF, Celery/Rabbit or Redis, PostgreSQL (separate DBs per tenant), Docker and basic k8s familiarity for local orchestration. Solid testing discipline (pytest) and CI friendliness are must-haves. Acceptance criteria for the test job 1. A repo with well-documented code and README explaining setup and tenancy decisions. 2. Automated tests proving that cross-tenant data leakage is impossible. 3. End-to-end flow demonstrating user signup, payment call to gateway sandbox and analytics event capture for the correct tenant. Once the PoC is signed off, we’ll roll into a series of feature milestones under a strict timeline and mutually agreed fixed price.
