I need a set of clear, professionally drafted drawings that will satisfy local authorities for planning permission on a classic-style balcony terrace. The footprint is already measured and photographs of the existing façade are ready to share. What I am missing—and what you will provide—are accurately scaled plans, elevations and one or two key sections that convey how the new balcony blends with the building’s traditional architecture. Because these are for submission, each sheet has to follow common planning standards: north arrow, scale bar, title block with revision history and my project data. PDF files for the council plus the original CAD (DWG/REVIT) are required so I can make minor tweaks later if the officer requests them. Deliverables • Scaled plan, elevation and section drawings (PDF + DWG/Revit) • Brief design statement incorporated on the title sheet outlining how the classic detailing respects the property’s character • One round of minor revisions after the first review If you have recent examples of balcony terrace approvals or can point to past projects where your drawings sailed through planning, I’d love to see them.
