We will begin with Knowledge Discovery and Data Cubes, then move into Classification & Regression before tackling the rest of the syllabus (Decision Trees, Random Forests, Pattern Mining, Clustering, Outlier Detection, Time Series, Complex Data Types, and Large Language Models). With every session I expect: • a concise walk-through of the underlying mathematics and intuition • a live coding demo in Spyder using familiar libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn (and others when appropriate) • a small set of hands-on exercises or mini-projects that I can complete between lessons • annotated script files or notebooks that capture everything we covered A patient teaching style is essential. Pausing to check my understanding, encouraging questions, and offering practical tips for debugging or optimising code inside Spyder will help me progress quickly.
