BrainoBook will be a dedicated e-commerce website for selling physical books. I want a clean, modern storefront that makes discovery and checkout effortless on desktop and mobile alike. Core requirements • Product pages that handle rich book metadata (author, ISBN, synopsis, cover, price, stock) • Fast category and keyword search, with filters for genre, author, language and price • Secure cart and checkout that supports credit/debit cards, PayPal and a payment gateway we can enable later for local bank transfers • Customer area for order tracking, wish-lists and downloadable invoices • Simple, intuitive admin panel where I can upload new titles in bulk (CSV import is fine), adjust inventory, set discounts and view sales analytics • SEO-friendly URLs and schema so Google picks up each title organically • Responsive design—pages must score well on Google Lighthouse for both performance and accessibility Tech notes I am platform-agnostic: Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, custom Laravel or MERN are all acceptable if they meet the above needs and keep running costs reasonable. Please factor in integration with Stripe (or a comparable gateway) and make sure code is version-controlled on GitHub from day one. Deliverables 1. Fully functional live site on my domain 2. Source code and database dump 3. One-page setup guide and a recorded walk-through showing how to add a new book and fulfil an order Acceptance criteria • All user flows tested end-to-end (browse → add to cart → pay → confirmation email) • No console errors on major browsers • Page load <3 s on 4G for key pages • Admin bulk upload successfully imports at least 100 sample books Timeline is flexible within reason, but I’d like to see an initial prototype within two weeks so we can iterate on UI. Let me know which stack you prefer, any similar bookshop sites you have built, and your estimated timeframe for each milestone.
