I have 1 x 92 page PDF document that contain mostly simple tables however some are slightly complex tables—some cells are merged both horizontally and vertically and several rows span across pages. I need every table lifted out of those PDFs and placed into an Excel workbook so each data point sits cleanly in its correct column without any of the original merge issues. Accuracy is critical: the output must preserve the original row order, numeric formatting, and header relationships while breaking any merged-cell logic into a true columnar structure that is ready for filtering, pivoting, or further analysis. If a table continues onto a new page, the flow should be reconstructed seamlessly in Excel so no information is lost or duplicated. Automation through Python, Power Query, or any reliable extraction tool is welcome as long as the final result is spotless. Deliverables • One Excel file (or one sheet per PDF if easier) containing every table fully reconstructed in tabular form. • A brief note on the method or script used, in case minor updates are required later. I’ll supply the PDFs as soon as we start and can answer layout questions quickly so you can move forward without delays.
