I’m ready to transform my entire back yard into a more practical, family-friendly space and need a contractor who can take the project from demolition through final finishes. Scope of work • Pour new concrete pads on both sides of the existing patio (where the heaters sit now). These pads will become twin BBQ stations and I want each one protected by a pergola so the area can stay open-air but shaded. • Form and pour a clean concrete surround for the pool pump, then build a neat insulated-panel cover that keeps the equipment out of sight yet well-ventilated. • Build stone stairs that run from the main yard level down to the rear fence line, matching the style of the rest of the hardscape. • Excavate and install a retaining wall along the back boundary to level the ground before the play area goes in. • Prepare the new play zone with a layer of shock-absorbing rubber matting topped by artificial turf; the actual playground set will arrive from another supplier, so all fixings and footings must be ready for their install crew. • Remove the existing timber deck entirely, fill and compact, then pour a reinforced concrete slab finished with exterior-grade tiles. • Erect a cabana on that new slab and tie in a fly-over roof so the structure sits higher than the main roofline and stays cool. What matters to me • Drainage and expansion joints in all new concrete so we avoid future cracking. • Consistent stone and tile selections that visually link the stairs, retaining wall and cabana area. • Precise slab levels because outdoor kitchen equipment and the playground both require dead-flat surfaces. Deliverables 1. Signed-off drawings or sketches confirming dimensions, levels and materials. 2. All demolition, site prep, concrete, masonry, carpentry and roof work completed to code. 3. Final walkthrough with me to verify finishes, pergola alignment, insulated-panel fit and stair safety. Site Plans I have site plans for the property I’m ready to begin as soon as we confirm the timeline and order materials. Let me know your proposed schedule, any questions on specs, and a brief outline of similar backyard projects you’ve completed.
