I need a polished mobile app that runs natively on both iOS and Android and lets users plan, follow and review routes. Real-time navigation is a must, and every journey should be logged automatically so the user can browse a history of past routes. At any point the user should also be able to drop custom waypoints and have the navigation engine adjust on the fly. I haven’t locked the experience to a single mode—driving, walking or cycling could all be relevant—so feel free to propose the approach you think fits best. What matters is that the map experience stays smooth, GPS updates remain accurate and battery consumption is kept reasonable.
