Job Title 3D Modeling of Custom Figurines for Wedding Table Decoration (STL files) Job Description For a wedding table decoration project, I am looking for a freelance 3D artist / 3D modeler to create a collection of custom decorative figurines, delivered as 3D-print-ready STL files. The figurines will represent a couple through different moments of their story. A detailed document describing each scene and its associated decor will be provided as an attachment. The final models will be 3D printed and used as centerpieces and narrative elements along long banquet tables. Expected Style The visual style is inspired by a wedding invitation design and must remain: Minimalistic, soft and poetic Faceless characters (no eyes, mouth, or facial details) Rounded, smooth shapes Slightly childlike / figurine-like proportions Single-color models (white or light pastel once printed) Characters Smooth, round head Simplified body and limbs Expressive poses achieved only through posture and gestures No unnecessary fine details (no fingers, no clothing folds, no textures) Decor Elements Stylized and symbolic rather than realistic Simple, clean volumes Designed to complement the characters without overpowering them Can be separate objects or integrated with the characters (to be discussed) Technical Requirements Deliverables in STL format Models must be: manifold watertight free of mesh errors Optimized for 3D printing (PLA or resin) Target size: Characters: ~15 cm (6 inches) tall Decor elements scaled accordingly Ideally: minimal or no supports stable bases suitable for table display Deliverables A set of STL files including: male and female figurines in various poses associated decorative elements for each scene Clear file naming Possibility of one or two revision rounds for minor adjustments Profile Required Proven experience in 3D modeling for 3D printing Comfortable with: figurines decorative objects Tools may include: Blender Fusion 360 ZBrush or equivalent Artistic sensitivity appreciated (emotional / wedding-related project) Please Include in Your Proposal The software you use Relevant portfolio samples (figurines, printable models, etc.) An estimated: timeline or budget for the full project Your availability for short feedback iterations Project Context This is a wedding project with strong emotional value. It details the different scenes to be modeled, including: character poses accessories and associated decor elements This document serves as the main creative guideline for the project. Modeling Guidelines (Important) Characters and decor elements must be modeled as separate STL files (we will handle the final staging and composition ourselves). However, objects that are directly part of a character’s pose or interaction must be integrated into the character model, for example: a paddle held by a character skis worn by a character a suitcase carried in hand handheld accessories or wearable items Environmental elements such as buildings, vehicles, landscapes, signs, trees, etc. must be delivered as separate decor models. Collaboration & Flexibility This project is collaborative in spirit. While the attached document provides clear directions, I remain open to the freelancer’s artistic and technical suggestions, including: pose adjustments simplification for better 3D printability structural improvements creative alternatives that stay true to the intended style Feedback and minor modifications will be discussed together to ensure both visual coherence and technical reliability.
