I’m in the middle of revamping my online store for physical products and want every step of the shopping journey to feel effortless and intuitive. The focus is a clean, conversion-oriented user experience that moves visitors smoothly from landing on the site to completing checkout without friction. Scope of work The project centers on three key touchpoints that collectively drive sales: • Homepage layout – establish a visual hierarchy that instantly communicates value, highlights current promotions, and guides shoppers to categories or featured items. • Product pages – craft an information architecture that balances rich imagery and concise copy, making specs, pricing, and shipping details accessible without clutter. • Checkout process – streamline the multi-step flow into as few clicks as possible, reducing abandonment while keeping trust signals (security badges, clear totals, shipping choices) prominent. Design considerations – Mobile-first mindset; the majority of traffic already arrives via phone. – Consistent typography, color, and iconography that align with my existing brand guidelines. – Compatibility with modern e-commerce platforms (Shopify or WooCommerce) so the design can be implemented by my dev team without major re-architecture. Deliverables 1. High-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes (Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch). 2. A brief style guide covering fonts, color palette, and reusable UI components. 3. Annotated user flow diagrams for each redesigned step to help developers implement exactly what’s envisioned.
