Hi, I’m reaching out regarding a website redesign project for the Earthing Institute. Current website: https://earthinginstitute.net/ Reference / direction: https://earthing-institute.pages.dev/ We are looking to rebuild the website using the content of the current site, but following very closely the structure, UX and overall design of the reference website. To be clear, the reference is not just inspiration — we are aiming for something very similar in layout, navigation and user experience, with adjustments such as: Integration of additional videos and visual content Adaptation of content from the current site Some refinements based on your recommendations Key objectives Keep the site primarily educational and institutional (no product/catalog focus) Improve clarity of messaging and user experience Create a clean, modern, high-end design Ensure strong performance and SEO foundations Scope (high-level) Full redesign (UX/UI + front-end) Content restructuring (we will provide content, but expect guidance) Responsive design (mobile-first) Basic SEO setup CMS setup for easy content updates Additional considerations We are open to leveraging shortcuts or optimizations (e.g. using and adapting a high-quality pre-made theme) to avoid a full custom UI build if it makes sense in terms of efficiency and budget. We do expect to retain control over content (i.e. not a fully static website), although we do not necessarily need something as heavy or complex as WordPress — we are open to your recommendations here. The current website includes an e-learning module (WordPress-based), where users can purchase and access gated video content. If WordPress is recommended, we expect this functionality to be included in the project. If another stack is recommended, we do not expect this module to be part of the scope, but we are open to suggestions for alternative solutions if you have relevant experience. Technical considerations The current site is built on WordPress.
