Electronic Toy CAD Design

I have an original concept for an electronic toy aimed at school-age children (7-12 years) and now need a complete CAD treatment so I can move on to prototyping and, ultimately, manufacture. The job is squarely a toy design assignment rather than a generic mechanical part, so the model must balance child-friendly ergonomics with space for boards, batteries and small actuators. Here’s what I expect: • A fully detailed 3-D CAD model (SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or comparable), with separate bodies for shell, fasteners and the internal component frames. • Exported production files (STEP/IGES for machining and STL for 3-D printing) plus drawings with critical dimensions and tolerances. • Basic exploded view or assembly guide so my electronics team can position PCBs, LEDs and the battery pack without guesswork. I’ll share sketches, rough dimensions and the list of electronics the moment we start; your job is to translate that into a manufacturable design and flag any issues you see with clear, constructive feedback. If you’ve taken toys from concept through injection-mould tooling before, let me know—design for safety and age-appropriate durability will carry real weight in my decision.
