Project Title Traccar Server Installation on VPS, Domain Setup, Android App Configuration & Google Play Deployment Project Description I am looking for an experienced backend/system engineer with proven hands-on experience in Traccar GPS Tracking System to fully set up and deploy a complete tracking solution. This is not a development-from-scratch project, but a professional installation, configuration, and deployment task that must be delivered in a stable, production-ready state. Scope of Work The selected freelancer will be responsible for the following: 1. Server Setup Install and configure Traccar Server on a Linux VPS (Ubuntu). Ensure proper Java environment and service stability. Open and configure required TCP/UDP ports. Verify server runs 24/7 without interruptions. 2. Domain & Access Connect the Traccar web interface to my existing domain (Namecheap DNS). Ensure web access to the Traccar dashboard via browser. (Optional but preferred) Configure SSL for secure access. 3. Application Configuration Configure Traccar Client / Traccar Manager to connect to the deployed server. Validate real-time tracking and data transmission from the app to the server. 4. Android App & Google Play Prepare an Android build (APK / AAB) connected to my Traccar server. Adjust basic configuration such as server URL. Publish the app on Google Play Console (developer account will be provided). Ensure the app is approved and publicly available on Google Play. 5. Final Validation & Handover Confirm full functionality (server, web panel, mobile app). Provide a short handover or basic documentation after completion. Requirements Proven experience with Traccar Server (mandatory). Strong knowledge of Linux VPS, Java, networking, and ports. Experience publishing Android apps on Google Play Console. Ability to deliver a clean, working solution (not experimental). Notes No custom UI design required. No additional backend or website development required. This project is focused strictly on installation, configuration, and deployment.
