A growing PHP-Laravel codebase needs an extra pair of hands. The project already follows standard MVC patterns, lives in Git, and targets PHP 8+. I need someone comfortable jumping into an existing repository, reviewing the current architecture, then building or refining modules as priorities shift. Typical tasks may range from tightening user authentication flows, wiring in a payment gateway, or exposing new RESTful endpoints, through to routine bug-squashing and performance tuning. Clean, readable commits, well-named migrations, and the occasional PHPUnit test keep the work moving smoothly, so familiarity with those practices is important. You’ll work directly from tickets in Trello and push to a GitHub repository for review. Clear, timely communication over Slack is essential; I prefer short daily updates instead of long weekly reports.
