I want to turn the idea of FreeStream Hub into a polished, production-ready site where visitors can stream free and completely legal web series, movie clips, and short, reel-style videos without ever facing a paywall. The experience needs to feel as slick as a major OTT service: pages must load fast, video playback should start instantly and adapt to bandwidth, and every screen has to look just as good on mobile as it does on desktop. The interface will blend light and dark tones—users can flow from bold, cinematic blacks to clean, airy whites depending on the section—so the design system must be consistent across both palettes. Two community-driven features are essential from day one: viewers need to be able to leave ratings and written reviews, and they need personal spaces for watchlists and favorites. Recommendation logic can wait for a future phase, but the codebase should stay modular enough to slot that in later. Here’s how I see the first milestone coming together: • Core front-end with the dual-theme design fully responsive • Seamless HTML5 or HLS/ DASH streaming with smooth seek and skip • User accounts that support reviews, star ratings, watchlists, and favorites • Lightweight admin panel so I can upload or embed new content quickly Ship it clean, well-documented, and ready for real traffic; once we pass those checks I’ll happily line up the next set of features.
