Our live platforms include: • Howeasy Booking – event ticketing and services • Howeasy Network – video streaming platform • Howeasy Mart – online marketplace • Howeasy Music – artist music platform These platforms are already live online, but we are now looking for 3 developers to compete in a 14-day development challenge to improve the platforms and join our internship program. Only apply if you are serious about becoming a long-term developer helping build a startup ecosystem. This is not just a small bug-fix job. We are looking for someone who can think like a full-stack engineer and product developer. Challenge Details: • Duration: 14 days • Participants: 3 developers • Participation payment: $7 • Winner receives: $150 internship contract and opportunity for long-term work Developers will work on improving the following areas: 1. Payment Gateway Integration Set up and test payment systems for: • Event ticket purchases • Product checkout • Subscription payments Preferred payment integrations: Stripe PayPal 2. Platform Bug Fixes Fix bugs across the four platforms including: • signup/login issues • checkout flow • account management • vendor dashboards 3. Upload Systems Ensure the following work correctly: • video uploads for the streaming platform • music uploads for the music platform 4. Email and SMS Notifications Implement notifications for: • user sign-ups • purchases • subscriptions • event confirmations Recommended tools: SendGrid (email) Twilio (SMS) 5. Front-End Improvements Improve user experience including: • mobile responsiveness • page layouts • navigation • design improvements Work Tracking Requirements All developers must: • push code updates to GitHub • update task progress on Trello • submit daily progress reports with screenshots or demo videos Because these platforms are live, developers must also communicate before deploying updates. Example: “Deploying checkout payment update – estimated downtime 15 minutes.” Winner Selection The winner will be the developer who delivers: • the most bugs fixed • working payment integrations • stable upload systems • strong front-end improvements The winner will be invited to join the Howeasy development internship program and help build the next stage of the platform ecosystem.
