I’m looking to build a fully-automated horse-racing betting bot that can handle the entire cycle—from scanning live markets through to placing the wager—without manual intervention. this will be for the Betfair Platform only. It incorporates a spreadsheet model which pulls in odds and then gives me a recommendation of what bet to place. Core scope • Real-time odds capture for Australian and international horse races (direct API). • On-the-fly odds analysis using my configurable staking and value-finding rules, then: – flagging recommended selections; – automatically placing the bet when criteria are met. • Clear logging of every step (timestamp, runner, odds taken, stake, result) so I can review performance and tweak strategies. Key requirements • Runs unattended on Windows. • Simple front-end where I can edit rules (min/max odds, track filters, staking plan). • Error handling that pauses activity if odds data or login fails, then retries safely. • Clean, well-documented code so I can maintain or extend it later.
