I’m setting up an online boot-camp that takes complete beginners from their very first HTML tags all the way to building polished, mobile-friendly portfolio sites with JavaScript interactivity. Each class will run for about two hours and I need every session to balance concise explanations with hands-on coding so that theory immediately turns into something students can see in the browser. Across the programme you will: • Walk the class through HTML5 semantics, modern CSS (Flexbox, Grid, responsive design) and vanilla JavaScript, then transition into ES6 features, DOM manipulation and basic fetch/API work. • Design and supervise a sequence of mini-projects—landing page, blog layout, interactive to-do app—culminating in each student deploying a personal portfolio site to GitHub Pages or Netlify. • Set short, achievable assignments after every lesson and return annotated feedback before the next class. • Hold a dedicated doubt-clearing slot at the end of each session and remain available in chat between classes for quick blockers. • Provide concise slide decks or markdown notes plus fully commented source files so students can review independently. Success for me means that every attendee can: write clean HTML, structure layouts with modern CSS, add interactive behaviour with JavaScript, push code to Git and deploy a working site they are proud to show in job applications.
