Humanoid Character Re-Rig for Games

I have two FBX humanoid characters that currently sit on entirely different skeletal setups. One of them already drives a complete set of in-game animations; the other cannot share those clips because its hierarchy doesn’t match. Your job is to rebuild the second character’s skin and bones so it uses the exact same rig as the first, letting me drop-in the existing animation library without further retargeting work. You will receive: • Source FBX of the “animation-ready” character, including its full rig and a sample clip. • Source FBX of the character that needs the new rig, fully modeled and skinned to its current bones. What I need back: • Re-rigged FBX of the second character, cleanly skinned to the first character’s joint layout and naming. • Weight painting refined so deformations match or exceed the original quality. • A quick playblast (or viewport capture) proving at least two of the donor animations work flawlessly on the re-rigged model. Acceptance criteria: • Joint count, hierarchy, and names identical to the reference rig. • No flipped normals, stray vertices, or weight artifacts visible during motion. • File imports into Unity/Unreal with animation tracks preserved and no warnings. I’m flexible on whether you prefer Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max during production—just deliver the final clean FBX. Turnaround this week would be ideal, but let me know realistically what you need.
