Project Brief Project: Multi-Tenant Hyperlocal Logistics Platform Overview We are planning to build an enterprise-grade, multi-tenant logistics platform that enables multiple brands to manage hyperlocal deliveries through a single, scalable system. The platform will support own fleets (1PL) as well as third-party logistics partners (3PL), offering end-to-end capabilities from order creation to delivery completion and financial settlement. Objective To create a technology-first logistics operating system that simplifies delivery operations, improves rider productivity, reduces fraud risks (especially in COD), and provides real-time visibility and analytics for all stakeholders. Key Capabilities Centralized order management with priority-based allocation Fleet and rider management with availability tracking Real-time tracking and geo-fenced delivery verification Intelligent routing to optimize delivery time and workload Payments and wallet system with COD controls and automated settlements Multi-channel notifications (SMS, WhatsApp, push) Analytics dashboards for performance, cost, and revenue insights Users of the Platform Platform administrators Brands and business owners Delivery riders Fleet and operations managers Finance and accounts teams External logistics partners Technology Vision The platform will be built on a modern microservices architecture, using scalable cloud infrastructure, secure authentication, real-time communication, and compliance with India’s data protection regulations.
