I have a set of 2-D reference images and I need them translated into a single, watertight 3-D object that I can send straight to my printer. The final piece doesn’t have to be hyper-realistic, but it must capture all medium-level surface details and proportions shown in the images while remaining structurally sound for printing. Key points • Purpose: functional 3-D printing, so correct wall thickness, no non-manifold edges, and a clean, closed mesh are essential. • Detail: medium—enough to show form and features clearly without unnecessary micro-detail that would inflate file size or complicate slicing. • File format: STL is mandatory; OBJ or STEP as optional extras are welcome. • Scale: match the dimensions indicated on my sketches; I will provide exact measurements once we start. I’m comfortable if you work in Blender, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or any other mainstream modeling package—just ensure the export is print-ready. Once I test-slice the model in Cura/PrusaSlicer without errors, the job is complete.
