I’m rolling out the next version of our insurance-aggregator platform and need an extra pair of expert hands to push three key areas over the finish line. First, the user interface. React already powers the front end, but I want smoother, more intuitive navigation and a couple of high-impact features—namely an advanced search that lets users filter policies instantly and a notification system that alerts them to new quotes or status changes in real time. Second, the Python-based backend must run faster under load. You’ll profile the current code, streamline bottlenecks, and make sure the API responses stay snappy even when quote volume spikes. Finally, I intend to plug in additional insurance products. You’ll work with our existing integration pattern to map new carrier APIs, normalise their data, and expose the results to the front end without breaking what’s already in place. Core stack: Python (Django/Flask experience preferred), React, REST/GraphQL, and solid knowledge of insurance domain concepts such as policy lifecycle, quote parameters, and coverage limits. Deliverables • Revamped navigation flow and layout updates pushed to production • Enhanced search component and real-time user notification service • Measurable backend latency reduction with before/after metrics • At least one new carrier integration fully tested and documented Code must be clean, well-commented, and delivered through our GitHub repo with merge requests for each feature branch.
