Description: This project aims to design and implement a custom web chatbot architecture powered by the OpenAI API. WordPress will serve exclusively as the user interface (UI) layer, while all AI-related logic—including OpenAI API calls—will be handled by an independent backend server (e.g., Node.js, Next.js, or Python). The chatbot will be developed in phases and will include the following capabilities: - RAG-based responses leveraging website content and PDF/documents - Conversation logging and analytics - Automated lead capture (email, company information) with a structure ready for CRM integration (Hubspot) - Policy-based response control and content filtering The overall goal is to build a modular and scalable AI web chatbot that can evolve with future security requirements and enterprise-level use cases. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop LLM-based features and AI agent workflows - Implement RAG capabilities integrated with internal data sources - Integrate generative AI functionalities into the overall architecture of web applications - Design and develop FastAPI-based APIs and AI service logic - Implement AI-powered features used directly in web UIs through frontend–backend collaboration Qualifications - Hands-on experience building applications or services using LLMs - Understanding of RAG architectures, prompt design, and AI agent concepts - Experience with Python-based backend or AI application development - Frontend development experience (e.g., React) or experience implementing user interfaces is a plus
