# Intermediate WordPress Developer (Execution-Focused, Debugging-Heavy) ## About The Role We’re looking for an intermediate WordPress developer who knows how to **figure things out, fix issues, and get things working reliably**. This is not a “build pretty sites from scratch” role. This is a **high-impact execution role** focused on: - debugging real-world issues - maintaining and improving live websites - implementing designs accurately - optimizing performance If you enjoy solving problems like *“Why is this form not submitting?”* or *“Why is this site slow?”* - you’ll thrive here. --- ## What You’ll Be Doing This role is roughly: - **80% support, debugging, and fixes** - **20% optimization and improvements** ### Core Responsibilities - Diagnose and fix issues across WordPress sites (forms, plugins, themes, integrations) - Maintain and support existing client websites - Implement designs with high attention to detail using: -- builders (Avada, Beaver Builder, etc.) -- custom templates (ACF-based) - Perform performance optimization (Core Web Vitals, load speed improvements) - Handle API integrations (forms, CRMs, third-party tools) - Execute SEO-related technical implementations - Collaborate with teammates on QA (your own work and teammates’ work) --- ## What Success Looks Like - You can take a vague issue like *“something is broken”* and figure out the root cause - You **ask the right questions**, scope the solution, and execute it cleanly - You can independently fix performance issues across the stack (DNS ? server ?
