I have the concept, sketches, and fabric inspiration for a premium men’s hybrid short that works equally well in the pool and in the gym but, most importantly, stands up to extreme heat settings such as a sauna. What I need now is a concise, production-ready tech pack that captures every critical detail without unnecessary bulk. Core product vision • Dual-purpose use: Both swim and sport functionality. • Semi-fitted outer shell that hits mid-thigh, clean lifestyle aesthetic—no visible tech clutter. • Heat-resistant outer fabric with excellent breathability and moisture release. • Inner liner upgraded from typical swim trunks: breathable mesh (Tencel or similar) with a supportive front pouch engineered to minimise heat build-up around the groin and avoid fertility or testosterone damage associated with toxic materials. • Strict material criteria: PFAS-free, BPA-free, no harsh chemical finishes, preference for organic or sustainably sourced fibres only. What the tech pack should include 1. Detailed flat sketches (front, back, liner construction) in Adobe Illustrator or equivalent vector format. 2. Complete BOM listing approved fibre contents and trims that meet the non-toxic requirement. 3. Size spec table for a base size M with graded rules. 4. Stitching, seam, and construction call-outs specific to swim-sport hybrids. 5. Colourway and minimal branding placements. 6. Testing notes or call-outs (heat-resistance, breathability). 7. Factory-ready PDF plus editable source files. Acceptance criteria • All measurements logically graded and consistent. • Only materials that satisfy the PFAS/BPA-free mandate appear in the BOM. • Liner pattern clearly separates front pouch mesh panel from the rest of the liner. • File package opens cleanly and prints to scale. If you already use tools like Clo3D or Optitex, let me know—3D visuals are a bonus but not essential. Once the lean tech pack is signed off I’ll move straight into sampling, so clarity and manufacturability are key.
