About the Company : The Affordable Organic Store (TAOS) is a fast-growing e-commerce brand based in India, specializing in live plants, seeds, gardening essentials, and sustainable lifestyle products. We have developed a proprietary Super App — a centralized internal operations platform — to manage our complete post-order workflow. This includes order processing, packaging, courier allocation, vendor management, inventory tracking, and performance analytics. The platform is tightly integrated with Shopify and multiple courier APIs, automating a large portion of our fulfillment process. We are now seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer or Development Team for ongoing maintenance, optimization, and new feature enhancements of this Super App. Project Overview : The Super App is the operational backbone of TAOS, designed to integrate multiple departments — Procurement, Packing, Quality, and Dispatch — into a unified workflow. It automates order import from Shopify, optimizes courier selection, provides analytics dashboards, and ensures end-to-end visibility of every order from picking to delivery. The goal of this engagement is to maintain system stability, enhance performance, introduce new modules, and continuously improve the user experience and automation capabilities. Scope of Work / Responsibilities : The selected developer or team will be responsible for: Maintaining and improving existing Super App modules for reliability and performance. Debugging and resolving issues related to Shopify API, courier API integrations, or order synchronization. Developing new modules and extending current functionalities based on operational needs. Enhancing the UI/UX for better data visibility and workflow efficiency. Ensuring database integrity, security, and smooth synchronization between systems. Monitoring system performance, identifying process bottlenecks, and recommending optimizations. Providing version control, documentation, and regular update reports. Coordinating with internal stakeholders for testing and deployment. Existing System Modules Dashboard – Displays real-time operational KPIs such as courier-wise and platform-wise order breakdowns, RTO and reship data, delivery performance, and usage of packing materials. Orders Management – Automatically syncs Shopify orders, segregates plant and non-plant items, tracks order stages (Pick → Pack → Review → Ship), and allows bulk updates and filtering. Order Flow & Batch Processing – Visualizes each order’s journey through fulfillment stages and identifies stuck or delayed orders. Pick & Pack Module – Tracks the employee responsible for picking and packing each order and logs progress. Review Desk – Enables final quality checks before orders are marked ready for dispatch. Courier Checker – Automatically assigns couriers based on pincode, weight, and rate comparisons. Integrated with major courier APIs (Delhivery, DTDC, Amazon, etc.). Shipping Management – Manages zones, couriers, rate cards, packaging box details, and coverage data. Products Module – Syncs the product catalog directly from Shopify, showing SKU, type, and stock availability. Vendors Module – Stores vendor details, tracks product inquiries, and generates reports on vendor communication. Records Module – Manages inbound stock, seed bundling, damaged or recovered products, offline sales, store credits, and refunds — providing full visibility into all physical and financial inventory movements. Users Module – Handles user roles, permissions, and access control with audit trails. QR & Barcode Module – Generates and prints QR codes and barcodes for labeling and tracking products. Technical Requirements Core Skills: Strong expertise in Shopify API integration and backend automation. Proficiency in Node.js, PHP (Laravel), or equivalent full-stack frameworks. Database experience in MySQL or MongoDB. Integration experience with logistics APIs such as Delhivery, DTDC, Amazon Shipping, ShipRocket, etc. Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and asynchronous data handling. Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Firebase, or equivalent). Frontend development experience using React, Vue.js, or Angular preferred. Experience in creating analytics dashboards and reporting tools is a plus. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience maintaining or developing internal ERP-style or logistics management systems. Deep understanding of e-commerce order cycles, courier management, and warehouse operations. Ability to proactively detect inefficiencies and propose automation or design improvements. Strong problem-solving skills, code documentation discipline, and communication abilities. Availability for long-term collaboration with quick response to operational issues.
