The existing WordPress store at wholesalersonline.com.au now needs a clean migration from A2 Hosting to WP Engine, followed by a phased refresh that tightens performance, usability, and search visibility. Milestone 1 – Hosting Cut-Over (1-2 days) • Copy the full WordPress install across to the new WP Engine account I already control, switch DNS and SSL (tool choice is open—Let’s Encrypt, Cloudflare, or any proven method). • Keep downtime to an absolute minimum; the site must load securely and behave exactly as it does today before we proceed. Milestone 2 – Shipping Overhaul (2-3 days) • Retire the current Sendle setup and wire in the official Australia Post API. • Configure domestic shipping rules, test live rates, and run end-to-end checkout tests until every order type completes without errors. Milestone 3 – Design & Performance Refresh (2-3 days) • Apply a modern layout with noticeable UI improvements and stronger mobile responsiveness—these three points are the primary visual goals. • Remove unused or duplicate plugins, update the rest, and harden core settings. • Optimise caching, image delivery, and overall page speed so metrics improve on GTmetrix and Google PageSpeed Insights. Milestone 4 – SEO & Final Polish (2-3 days) • Install and configure an SEO plugin (Yoast, Rank Math, or similar), generate an XML sitemap, and set proper meta titles/descriptions. • Rewrite or adjust product copy for keyword intent, tighten internal linking, and submit the refreshed sitemap to Google Search Console. • Run a last pass of performance and UX checks, delivering a concise hand-over report. Acceptance for each milestone is simple: the task list above must be functional in production with no critical errors before we move on. Access to both hosting environments, WordPress admin, and domain registrar is already in place, so work can start as soon as you’re ready.
