Moving away from Salesforce CPQ (quoting & proposals)

Hi, we’re currently using Salesforce CPQ, and honestly, it’s no longer working well for us. It feels heavy, hard to adjust, and over time we’ve added too many workarounds just to keep quoting and pricing running. On top of that, Salesforce has become quite expensive for what we actually use, especially given the complexity and maintenance effort involved. We want to move off Salesforce CPQ and switch to a simpler system focused on quotes, pricing logic, and proposals that better matches how our sales team actually works. What we need help with: Review our current Salesforce CPQ setup Understand our existing quote and pricing logic Help us migrate to a different quoting & proposal system Set up pricing rules and quote generation Make quotes and proposals work together in one place Connect the new system with our CRM or other tools if needed Why we’re doing this: Salesforce CPQ feels too complex for everyday use Small pricing changes are harder than they should be Quoting and proposal creation feel disconnected Too much manual fixing and maintenance The overall cost of Salesforce no longer feels justified for our needs What we’re looking for: Someone who has worked with Salesforce CPQ and understands quoting and pricing systems well enough to help us move to something simpler, more flexible, and more cost-effective.
