I’m planning to launch a personal online assistant that makes my day-to-day organization effortless. The core focus is simple: let me add tasks, set reminders, and have everything synced across devices without fuss. Key functions • Scheduling & reminders – calendar integration, push or in-app alerts, and time-zone awareness so I never miss an event. • Task management – quick capture, priority tagging, status updates, and a clean overview of what’s due. Interaction style I want the assistant to answer in both voice and text. A spoken command such as “Remind me to call John at 3 pm” should create the entry immediately, but the same must work by typing. Please include basic speech-to-text and text-to-speech handling so replies feel natural on every platform. Platforms The same code-base (or tightly aligned feature set) must run as: • Mobile app (iOS and Android) • Web app (modern browsers) • Desktop app (Windows/macOS; Electron, Capacitor, or another lightweight wrapper are all fine) Deliverables 1. Fully functional apps for the three platforms listed above, sharing a single user account system and data store. 2. Source code with clear documentation for build, deployment, and future feature additions. 3. Short user guide or onboarding walkthrough explaining voice commands, task filters, and reminder settings. 4. Demo credentials or test build links so I can verify end-to-end flow. Acceptance criteria – Add, edit, and delete a task or event from any platform and see it reflected everywhere within seconds. – Voice command accuracy at ≈90 % for common scheduling phrases in English. – Notifications trigger at the correct local time even after device or timezone change. Tech choices are open; if you have experience with React Native + Firebase, Flutter, or other cross-platform stacks, let me know what you prefer and why. I’m keen to keep the initial scope focused on the two core features above, but I do want a rock-solid foundation that can grow later. If this sounds like a neat challenge, show me a quick outline of how you’d tackle it and examples of any similar assistant-style apps you’ve built.
