I’m launching a transportation platform for the Ghanaian market that combines taxi rides, motorbike courier services, and on-demand mini-truck deliveries. At its core the system must let a customer open the app, see nearby drivers, book the trip or delivery, pay securely, and follow the vehicle in real time. Drivers and riders, on the other hand, need their own dashboard where they can accept jobs, navigate to pickup and drop-off points, and track their earnings. Scope of work • Build native-feeling apps for iOS and Android plus a responsive web portal. • Support three vehicle categories—Taxis, Motorbikes, and Mini trucks—within a single code-base, with pricing and availability logic that can differ by category. • Include the essentials: a smooth booking flow, GPS-based driver tracking, and integrated payments (mobile money and cards are a must for Ghana). • Provide a separate, secure interface for service providers that covers registration, KYC upload, in-app navigation, wallet/earnings, and push notifications. • Develop a lightweight admin panel so I can manage users, fares, promo codes, disputes, and see live service data. • Build with expansion in mind; I plan to roll out to other African countries, so localization, currency switching, and multi-city configuration should be part of the architecture. The app must make registration simple for users Acceptance criteria The project is complete when: 1. All three apps (iOS, Android, Web) are live in test environments and pass end-to-end booking, payment, and tracking scenarios for each vehicle type. 2. Drivers and riders can register, upload documents, and start accepting jobs without admin intervention. 3. Payments settle correctly to test wallets, and transaction logs match rides completed. 4. Admin panel shows accurate real-time metrics and supports manual fare adjustments. 5. Code and documentation are handed over so future localization is straightforward. I’m open to your preferred stack—Flutter, React Native, Kotlin/Swift, or another modern approach—so long as the final product is performant on low-to-mid tier devices common in Ghana.
