I maintain a custom Laravel-based CMS that is already live, and I now need an extra set of expert hands whenever new functionality is required. Your main focus will be new feature development: scoping an idea with me, then extending or refactoring the existing controllers, models, migrations, and Blade/Vue snippets so everything fits cleanly into the current codebase. You should feel comfortable cloning the private Git repository, reading through someone else’s logic, and proposing improvements before you touch a line of code. Solid knowledge of Laravel 9+, Eloquent, queues, events, and policy-driven authorization is expected. MySQL query tuning, API design/consumption, and tidy PHP8 syntax will also come into play. While most of the work is back-end, a working grasp of HTML, Tailwind/Bootstrap, and a dash of Vue or React will help you wire up the views without waiting on a front-ender. Collaboration is flexible: when a task arises I’ll open an issue, outline the custom feature, and we’ll agree a time estimate. You push a feature branch and a clean pull request; I test, we iterate if needed, and then merge & deploy. I pay per task or hourly—whatever makes sense for the scope at hand. If you love solving CMS problems, writing clean Laravel code, and jumping in on an as-needed basis, let’s talk.
