Hello, We are seeking proposals from qualified vendors or development partners to support the design and implementation of a simplified fluid dynamics calculator based on an existing solver. Project Overview The objective is to develop a user-friendly calculation and visualization tool intended for investors, architects, and civil engineers selecting technical systems from a supplier portfolio. The tool should enable users to understand the influence of selectable system parameters on overall system performance, while explicitly excluding room-scale flow interactions. The primary application context is large-scale, open-space buildings such as production facilities, exhibition halls, and similar environments. Functional Expectations We envision a solution with the following characteristics: A simple and intuitive calculator requiring minimal input parameters, suitable for non-technical users such as investors or project managers. A competitor’s calculator (reference link provided below) should be treated as a functional benchmark. Calculations focused on a single system element with a limited number of required inputs. Output results that are less detailed than full CFD simulations, yet sufficiently robust to clearly illustrate differences between selectable system options. Enhanced insight compared to the benchmark calculator, for example through longitudinal flow visualizations showing distribution along the room length rather than only cross-sectional views. A tool intended primarily for system sizing rather than detailed optimisation toward peak performance. A finite and well-defined set of results, potentially supported by automatically generated slides or reports. As an alternative approach, the tool may function as a parameter selector, allowing users to define target performance requirements (e.g. air velocity at a given height above the floor or distance from the source for a specified inlet airflow). Based on these requirements, feasible geometry options (e.g. L and Fi variants) would be proposed. Preferred deployment as part of a website, with the option to extend functionality to a smartphone application in the future. Reference Material As a usability and simplicity reference, please review the following calculator: https://www.prihoda.com/pl/zasoby/kalkulator-predkosci/ An example drawing illustrating one of the target solution concepts is provided as an attachment. Vendor Qualifications If you have developed similar tools in the past—whether CFD-based or simplified engineering calculators demonstrating comparable capabilities—please include relevant examples or a portfolio as part of your response. Proposal Content Please include the following in your proposal: A brief description of your proposed technical approach Relevant experience and references Indicative development timeline High-level cost estimate or commercial model We look forward to reviewing your proposal and discussing potential collaboration. Kind regards
