Software Selection Identify a stable, well-documented open-source School Management System Must include core school modules, such as: Student & teacher management Classes, sections, attendance Exams, grades, reports Fees / payments (if available) Admin dashboard Role-based access (Admin, Teacher, Student, Parent) Share the selected GitHub/project link before proceeding 2. Installation & Configuration Complete installation on server (Linux preferred) Database setup & configuration Environment setup (.env, config files, permissions, etc.) Ensure system runs without errors 3. UI Customization (Basic Only) Branding changes: Logo Colors School name Minor UI refinements: Dashboard layout polish Menu naming adjustments (if required) No feature additions or removals 4. Deployment Deploy on a live hosting environment Provide: Live URL Admin login credentials Configure: Domain / subdomain SSL Basic security settings Ensure application is stable and accessible 5. Audio Call Requirement One audio call is mandatory: Walkthrough of the system Explanation of modules Admin usage demo Clear explanation of how future changes can be managed 6. Production-Readiness Essentials (These are required but do not imply any resale or commercial redistribution) Proper folder structure and permissions Error handling enabled appropriately Basic server hardening Backup-ready database configuration Clear setup documentation Deployment checklist followed Ability to re-deploy on another server if needed 7.
