I need a straightforward Android application that lets my customers enter an AWB number and instantly see whether their shipment has arrived at my warehouse. The data already sits in my SQL-based inventory management system, so the app must pull status updates directly from that database (or an API you create on top of it) and push them back to the phone in real time. Core flow • User creates an account with email and password, logs in, enters or scans an AWB number. • The app queries the inventory management system and returns a clear “received / not received” message, along with any relevant timestamps. • Real-time notifications should alert the user the moment the record flips to “received” without requiring a manual refresh. Tech notes – The inventory system uses SQL Server; if you prefer a lightweight REST layer in between, that’s fine as long as you set it up. – I will provide schema details and sample data once we start. – Clean, maintainable code and basic material-style UI/UX are more important than flashy graphics. Deliverables (acceptance criteria) 1. Production-ready Android APK and full source code. 2. Connection logic that reads status from my inventory DB and writes any needed logs back. 3. Email-and-password authentication flow, including password reset. 4. Real-time notification implementation proven with test AWB entries. 5. Short setup document so my in-house IT team can redeploy or extend the solution later.
