Details Hourly – $50/hr Up to 10 hrs/week, ongoing (initial 3 months, possible extension) Fully remote, must be in EU/EEA or Switzerland, CET ±2h Description We’re an early-stage startup building AI-powered tools for European SMEs (mainly in the DACH region). We’re looking for a part-time AI Technical Consultant (LLMs) who can help us bridge between our team and European clients. This is not an implementation or app-building role. Instead, you’ll use your technical background to help us design sensible LLM solutions, communicate them clearly to clients, and translate business needs into concrete technical requirements for our engineers. You’ll work with our small team to: Join calls with European clients (mainly DACH) as the technical counterpart Understand client workflows and pain points, and translate them into clear technical specs (e.g. RAG over documents, chat assistants, summarization, internal search) Review and challenge our proposed LLM solution designs (RAG setup, prompt strategies, evaluation, guardrails) Help us select appropriate tools and providers (e.g. OpenAI / Anthropic / Azure OpenAI, vector DBs) based on client needs, constraints, and budgets Prepare concise written explanations, diagrams, and documentation that both clients and engineers can understand Give feedback on demos and prototypes to check they match what was agreed (without doing the coding yourself) Requirements 3+ years of experience in ML/AI/Data Science/ML Engineering or similar Solid understanding of LLM-based systems (APIs, RAG, embeddings/vector search, evaluation, prompt design) Comfortable explaining technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders and turning business needs into technical requirements Polish or German B2+ (to read/understand customer content and join client conversations), English B2+ (team communication) Able to commit 5–10 hours/week and work mostly asynchronously within CET ±2h Nice to have: experience working with European B2B clients, especially in the DACH region To apply (on the platform) Short note about your LLM/AI background and your experience explaining/consulting on technical topics with clients Link to your profile/CV + GitHub/portfolio (if available) One example where you helped shape or explain an LLM-based solution (what the use case was, your role, and the tech involved — even if you didn’t code it yourself)
