I have a series of internal utilities written in Python that need to grow beyond quick-and-dirty prototypes. For two hours most mornings (08:30-10:30 IST, though we can slide a little when needed) I’d like to work side-by-side with someone who can drive the development of fresh, production-ready automation scripts. The immediate goals are: • expanding our file-management helpers so they sort, archive, and version large folder trees automatically; • building data-extraction and processing routines that pull raw CSV, Excel, and JSON files, cleanse them with Pandas, and push the results into a reporting pipeline. Knowledge of yaml files is plus Your role during the session is to sketch clean architectures, pair-program where necessary, and leave me with clear, commented code I can extend after the call. I’m comfortable with Git and VS Code, so we’ll share screens and commit work in real time. Acceptance criteria • Each new script runs from the command line with sensible arguments and logging. • Unit tests cover the core logic. • Inline docstrings and a short README explain setup and usage. If you enjoy rapid, focused morning sprints and can explain best practices while coding, let’s get started tomorrow.
