Core user-side features come first: powerful product search with layered filters (category, price, trending, etc.), a secure payment gateway integrated end-to-end, and authentic customer reviews with star ratings. Speed and accuracy of those search filters are critical, so efficient SQL queries and smart indexing will be expected. On the back end I want an analytics-style dashboard that lets me watch sales volume and trends at a glance. Charts, tables, and exportable reports should pull directly from live order data.
