I run a blog dedicated to original poems and short stories and now need fresh pieces that are polished enough to publish without another round of revisions. The assignment covers both stages—first crafting an engaging poem or narrative (around 800–1 200 words for stories, 20–40 lines for poems) and then refining that draft until it reads smoothly on screen. You will: • Produce one new poem or short story that fits the length above and is suitable for a general-interest audience. • Edit the work yourself—structure, flow, grammar, and style—so the final file is publication-ready. Submit the finished text in Google Docs or Word with tracked changes switched off in the final version and kept on in a second, commented version so I can see what was improved.
