I have a set of 2D sketches and dimensioned drawings for a new pontoon boat design that already carries several issued and pending utility patents. I now need the design brought to life in SolidWorks as a 3D model. Scope • Model every visible component; pontoons, decking, seating modules, perimeter safety barrier with side panels, and the integrated boarding mechanism are all in scope. • Parts must be built as separate, properly mated bodies inside an assembly so I can generate manufacturing drawings and BOMs later. • Maintain realistic wall thicknesses, material callouts, and clearances so the model is production ready. Deliverables • Native SolidWorks assembly and part files (.SLDASM/.SLDPRT) with correct feature tree organization. • High-resolution renders or screenshots that clearly show the overall vessel and key sub-assemblies. • STEP/IGES exports for sharing with investors and suppliers. • (Optional) If you are comfortable, quote a second milestone for a short animation that demonstrates seat re-positioning, the barrier panel changes, and the boarding mechanism re-location and deployment. I am open to including this once the static model meets expectations. Collaboration and Confidentiality Expect to work from my 2D PDFs and hand sketches; I’ll answer questions quickly and can hop on screen-shares for clarification. An NDA will be required before I release sketches and drawings. An IP Agreement may also be required. Acceptance Criteria 1. All three requested elements—seating modules, perimeter barrier, boarding mechanism—are present, dimensionally accurate, and functional within the assembly. 2. No unresolved mates or suppressed errors when the file opens in SolidWorks 2022 or newer. 3. Surfaces are watertight, with no remaining interferences after a SolidWorks interference check. If you have marine or modular furniture experience, please mention it along with a link to any similar SolidWorks projects you’ve completed. I’m ready to start as soon as I find the right partner.
