Every customer should be able to create an account, book a pickup on an interactive calendar, pay up-front, and track their order from our first photo at the door to the final delivery shot. Core flow • Account creation and secure login • Real-time service booking with pickup- and delivery-day selection • Up-front payment that pulls weight data from a Wi-Fi scale so clients are never over-charged • Automatic text/email alerts to me the moment an order is placed, plus push notifications to the customer throughout the process • Photo verification both at pickup and return (stored in the order record) • 24/7 in-app/web messaging between client and launderer • Ratings and reviews once service is complete • Monthly subscription option: one full-service laundry run per week, billed automatically, with rules we can fine-tune together Brand promises that need to shine – Free pickup and delivery in clear, classified bags (tops, bottoms, delicates, etc.) – Extreme garment care: separate lights/darks/materials, meticulous wash-dry-fold, and pristine presentation – A look and feel that mirrors Poplin’s polish yet remains unmistakably mine Tech expectations Frontend can be React, Vue, or another modern framework; backend can be Node, Laravel, or similar—what matters is security, scalability, and a seamless user experience. Mobile-responsive design is essential, and familiarity with Poplin’s UX patterns, legal policies, and operational restrictions is non-negotiable. Acceptance criteria 1. A production-ready site on my domain that passes cross-browser and mobile tests. 2. Admin dashboard showing live orders, weight data, photos, and customer messages. 3. Payment gateway (Stripe or comparable) configured for one-off and subscription billing. 4. Full documentation plus a brief hand-over session so I can manage future updates.
