I’m building out a Symphony chat-automation bot and need a reliable Python back-end developer to own the code base. The bot must: • Send automated messages in Symphony streams • Pull data from both internal systems and third-party services through REST APIs, then present the results clearly inside the chat • Support basic user interactions such as slash commands or buttons for quick queries You’ll work mainly in Python, handling JSON payloads and event-driven logic, and you should feel at home designing clean, testable modules. Symphony itself can be learned on the job—what matters is solid Python experience and comfort wiring up HTTP endpoints. Nice extras would be prior work with chatbots or messaging platforms, and familiarity with Docker or any cloud deployment so we can containerise the service later. I expect roughly 10–20 hours a week, though full-time could be an option if things click.
