I’m building a full-stack Point-of-Sale solution for restaurants that lets guests scan a table-side QR code, browse the menu and submit orders straight from their phones. The same build must scale gracefully across mobile devices, tablets and desktop screens, with seamless operation on iOS, Android and Windows environments. Instant two-way updates between the customer and admin views are mandatory, so WebSocket-based messaging is the backbone here. All endpoints must be protected with JWT authentication. Technical notes • Structured data storage tuned for performance and future scale (your recommended stack is welcome). • Clean, well-documented code that’s ready for straightforward deployment—containerisation is a plus. • Clear separation of concerns between customer UI, admin UI and API layer. • Reliability under peak loads is essential.
