I need an experienced React developer to jump into an existing Vite-powered single-page application that integrates with AWS Connect. Most of the plumbing is in place—API Gateway proxy integrations, Python Lambda functions, serverless deployment, and boto3 SDK calls are all handled on my side—so your primary focus will be the frontend. What has to change • Redesign several call-center administrative screens to match our custom in-house style guide (no Material or Bootstrap themes). • Tighten performance across the SPA, especially around state management and lazy loading. • Enhance call-handling features in the admin area—think smoother agent controls, clearer call status indicators, and faster screen updates when line states change. Tech environment you’ll be working with React, Vite, TypeScript, AWS Amplify for auth, and GitHub Actions for CI. Familiarity with Lambda-backed APIs, API Gateway proxy integrations, and general AWS tooling will help you plug in quickly. If you are not strong on these or on Terraform, that is fine, because I will be here to assist. Expected deliverables 1. Updated React components and routes covering the new administrative UI/UX. 2. Refactored code improving perceived load times and Lighthouse scores for the affected pages. 3. Tested, documented call-handling enhancements integrated with existing API endpoints. 4. Clean pull requests with helpful commit messages so we can review and merge swiftly.
