I have a single still image and need it turned into a short video where the subject disintegrates in a realistic way. The breakdown has to start at the very front of the body, first breaking into small stone-like fragments, then crumbling further into fine dust that finally disappears so the entire figure vanishes. The original background must stay visible and untouched throughout, and the palette should feel completely natural—no stylised or monochromatic tints. I’m open to whichever tool gives the best result (After Effects, Blender, Houdini, or similar), as long as the motion feels physically believable: weighty stones, lighter debris, and finally drifting dust that dissipates cleanly. Please pace the effect so the viewer can clearly see each transition before everything is gone.
