I’m building Samåkning, a community ride-sharing app that lets travellers moving from point A to point B find one another, split fuel costs and reduce CO₂. I need an experienced mobile developer (or team) to take the concept from polished design to production-ready releases on both Android and iOS. Core scope • Cross-platform apps that feel truly native and follow Google / Apple design guidelines while keeping the interface simple and minimalist. • Account creation with BankID verification for both drivers and passengers. No announcement may go live until the user passes this check. • Travel announcement flow where a driver posts departure, destination, seats available, price per seat and optional notes. • Real-time location tracking shown on an in-app map so passengers can see a driver’s current position once a trip is accepted. • Two-way ratings system released only after a completed ride; ratings must be immutable to preserve trust. • Secure in-app payments that let passengers cover fuel plus a small vehicle usage fee, with payouts to drivers. • Basic admin console to moderate users, trips and disputes. Tech preferences I’m open to Flutter, React Native or separate Swift/Kotlin builds as long as the final UX stays lean and fast. You’ll likely tap the BankID SDK, Stripe (or a comparable Nordic-friendly PSP), Firebase/Firestore or Supabase for realtime data and push notifications, and Google Maps or Mapbox for live tracking. Deliverables 1. Full source code with clear README. 2. TestFlight and Google Play internal testing builds. 3. Brief Loom or Zoom hand-off walkthrough. 4. Post-launch bug-fix window (30 days) included. Acceptance criteria • BankID flow passes BankID test environment checks. • Lat/long updates propagate in under 3 seconds on 4G. • Announcement creation, join, payment and rating can be completed in under 2 minutes total on average hardware. • Apps pass App Store & Play Store review for ride-sharing category. If this sounds like a challenge you’re ready to tackle, let’s discuss your proposed stack, timeline and any previous live apps that demonstrate similar functionality.
