I run a Shopify store and need the checkout flow to offer my customers a true “one-day” option: they either pick up the parcel at a designated postal centre or have it routed back to a secure locker the very same day if delivery fails. Here is what I need built and fully tested: • Real-time rate calculation from UPS, FedEx and DHL, with the new “Postal-Centre / Locker” service displayed alongside my existing options. • An address-matching routine that pairs the customer’s card name-and-number data with the chosen locker address so the parcel can be auto-returned there if undeliverable. • Automatic label generation and tracking updates pushed back to Shopify and to the customer e-mails/SMS. • Clear documentation inside my Shopify admin showing how I can edit the service names, locker locations and cut-off times in the future. Acceptance criteria 1. At checkout, customers entering an eligible zip code see the same-day locker/centre option with live price quotes. 2. Selecting that option generates the correct carrier label and sends the locker address to UPS, FedEx or DHL without manual intervention. 3. Failed first-attempt deliveries are re-routed to the locker and the system marks the order as “Ready for Pickup” within the same calendar day. 4. All tracking events appear in the Shopify timeline and in the customer’s tracking link. Feel free to suggest the best APIs, carrier webhooks or Shopify apps to achieve this; just make sure the final workflow is seamless for both my customers and my fulfilment team.
