I want to launch a simple, reliable mobile application that lets everyone involved with a school bus know exactly where it is and when it will arrive. The core of the build is real-time GPS tracking paired with an automatically refreshed ETA, available on both Android and iOS in one cohesive code-base. Three user roles drive the experience. Parents open the app to view the live map, see the countdown to their stop, and receive a push the moment the bus is almost there. Drivers run a streamlined interface that starts the route, tracks progress, and flags any delays. School administrators log in to review active routes, edit stops, or send out official delay notices that reach every affected parent instantly. Must-have notifications are: • Bus-arrival alerts triggered a set distance from each stop • Delay notifications that publish the revised ETA in real time The build includes the mobile apps, a lightweight back-end (Firebase, AWS, or a stack you recommend) for location ingestion and push messaging, and a small web dashboard for admin tasks. Source code, store-ready builds, and concise setup documentation are the final deliverables. If you have previous mapping, Flutter / React Native, or real-time socket experience, I’d love to see it in your proposal.
