Sensory & Nature Play Landscape Design for School in NZ

I’m preparing an inclusive landscape proposal for a school and need a designer who can turn my brief into a fully modelled, presentation-ready package. The first area is a sensory space for children with special needs. I want clearly defined zones that let students move from calm to active experiences at their own pace. Within those zones, please weave in plenty of touch-and-feel items alongside spinners, swings and bouncing elements. Paths should naturally guide users, vary in texture, and remain wheelchair-friendly. The second area is an outdoor nature play zone. Here I’m after robust climbing structures plus integrated sand and water play. Everything should sit naturally in the landscape and encourage open-ended exploration. If you see an elegant way to future-proof the design for gardens or other learning elements, feel free to flag it, though it’s not essential for this phase. We will supply a scaled site plan showing both spaces and their relationship to existing buildings. Deliverables • 3D model with materials applied (SketchUp, Revit or similar) • 4–6 high-quality renders that communicate key user experiences • Brief material/plant palette and simple maintenance notes Acceptance criteria: the plan must illustrate the zoned layout for the sensory space, clearly label the climbing and sand/water features in the nature play area, and present visuals polished enough for a client board meeting. If you work comfortably in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit and enjoy designing for inclusivity, I’d love to see your approach and a couple of relevant samples.
