I have a batch of plain-text files that all follow the same template for customer feedback (think header lines such as “Customer ID:”, “Date:”, “Rating:”, “Comments:” and so on). My master database is already populated with earlier records; your sole task is to pull every new entry from these documents and append it to the existing file without touching or altering the old rows. You may work in Excel, Google Sheets, CSV, or import directly into a SQL table—whatever is quickest for you—so long as the finished deliverable lands back with the exact columns and naming conventions I already use. Data integrity matters more than speed: each record must be captured exactly as written, fields correctly assigned, and no duplicate IDs introduced. Deliverables • Updated data file containing all newly added feedback • A brief change log (row count added and any anomalies flagged) If you prefer to script the extraction (Python, VBA, Power Query, etc.) feel free; just include the script for future runs.
